Alison hosts a variety of wheel based workshops and courses in a studio adjacent to her own, affectionately named Studio Frith. Classes are suited to beginner through to intermediate levels.

Students are encouraged to explore the possibilities of clay through hands-on demonstrations. A limit of 6 students per class ensures each student receives extensive one-on-one attention.

Students will be guided through the process of forming a vessel on the wheel. Techniques covered include wedging, centering, turning and glazing.

For those seeking to build on established skills, more advanced techniques such as pulling and attaching handles, forming spouts and creating galleries for lids will be demonstrated.
